1.         Daffodil Cruise Sat 6th Feb (following the Work Party).

The start of the cruising year begins with this one night excursion to the Warwick Castle at Little Venice. Beer and fish ‘n’ chips; great!

2.         Easter Cruise Fri 2nd – Mon 5th Apr.

Depart Good Friday and return on Bank Holiday Monday. We are heading to the Fox at the base of the Hanwell flight. Thames tides are also in our favour. Travel to the Fox via the Thames or via the Grand Union. Indeed a circumnavigation of London is possible!

3.         Canalway Cavalcade Sat 1st – Mon 3rd May.

Book in early and head to West London. Or go via the Cutweb BBQ at Willow Tree Park on Thu 29th Apr and head to Little Venice on Friday 30th.

4.         Thames Barrier Cruise Sat 22nd May.

Gather in Limehouse Basin on Fri for supper and safety brief in the Cruising Association at 1900. Depart for the barrier on Saturday morning

5.         Thames Tideway transit and AWCC Rally at Willow Tree Sat 29th – Mon 31st May.

Gather at Limehouse Basin on Fri for supper and safety brief in the Cruising Association at 1900. Depart on Sat a.m. for Brentford or Teddington. The AWCC Rally at Willow Tree Park is an option; or head up the Thames and enjoy yourself there.

6.         Summer Solstice Cruise Sat 19th – Sun 20th Jun.

Destination to be decided.

7.         Barking Creek Sat 10th – Sun 11th Jul (& perhaps Mon 12th).

Good tides in both directions this weekend. Explore Barking Creek, the River Roding and Barking Town Pool. Made welcome again by the Creek residents with a BBQ party and who knows what else.

Special cruises for 2010 to enable visiting and club boats to use the tidal Thames for the journey to Beale Park to attend the IWA National Festival and Boat Show.

8.         Thames Barrier Cruise Sat 14th Aug.

9.         Thames Tideway transit to Brentford and Teddington Sun 15th Aug.

10.       Thames Barrier Cruise Sat 21 Aug.

11.       Thames Tideway transit to Brentford and Teddington Sun 22 Aug.

For all four cruises, gather in Limehouse Basin on Fri for supper and safety brief in the Cruising Association at 1900. Depart on Sat a.m. for the Thames Barrier and on Sun a.m. for Brentford or Teddington. So much choice here. Beale Park for the National, or the London Ring, a bit of time lazing on the river feeding ducks. Brilliant!

12.       Angel Canal Festival Sun 5th Sep.

Known for its outstanding contribution to our local communities. The one and only home grown festival. Don’t forget the Boaters BBQ on the evening of Sat 4th Sep.

13.       Spooky Cruise and Halloween Party Sat 30th Oct.

Cruise to Kensal Green cemetery; take a guided tour of the catacombs, followed by tea and skeleton gingerbread men in the Dissenters Chapel. Return to St Pancras in the falling light for the annual Halloween Party. It will be a little scary and it will rain.

14.       Poppy Cruise to Limehouse Basin Sat 13th – Sun 14th Nov.

Supper together in the Cruising Association on Sat evening with stories and pictures of the year’s cruising. Leisurely return on Sun morning.

15.       Icicle Cruise to Little Venice Fri 31st Dec.

Moor adjacent to Rembrandt Gardens for the customary lunchtime BBQ. Return to St Pancras for an informal New Year’s Eve Party. Ice everywhere.
